Heidi Oates started to study art at Winthrop University. After 4 years of AP art at her high school she was quite honestly burnt out and quickly changed her major after realizing she would be doing 3 hour studios just in her first semester. Art took a back seat during these years until she was a young married mama who missed pursuing her passion. A seed was planted in her head to be home with her babies and she didn’t know what that would look like. Through utilizing her creative outlet she made numerous things, wood signs, hand painted lettering, and more. None filled her soul back up or was quite therapeutic as painting had once been. In 2015 she picked back up her brushes and hasn’t looked back.

Heidi lives in Charleston, South Carolina with the love of her life and their two children. She loves Jesus, her family, and all things coastal.
